Home/Medicare & Medicaid Help

Free and Unbiased Help and Guidance

An important update related to coronavirus (COVID-19) outbreak:

Our  MMAP staff and volunteers are working remotely. Many calls are currently going to voicemail, but we are working diligently to return calls quickly. When leaving a voicemail, please  leave your name, county of residence, zip code, phone number, age and brief description of your needs or question. Please DO NOT leave your Social Security or Medicare number. We are scheduling appointments for assistance during Open Enrollment, which runs from October 15 through December 7. Appointments will be held by phone or via the Zoom computer-meeting app.

Our Medicare Medicaid Assistance Program (MMAP) provides unbiased help with Medicare and Medicaid – at no charge. Our certified volunteers answer questions, troubleshoot problems and help people understand their plan choices. Government grants allow us to offer impartial assistance for free.

Help is available by calling (800) 803-7174.

We are now actively enrolling in our MI Choice In-home Care Program!
