- Provides individuals with Parkinson’s disease with financial assistance of up to $2,000 for respite care in a facility of their choice or for care in their home.
- Provides individuals with Parkinson’s disease with medication assistance of up to $600.
- Out of home respite: Must suffer from Parkinson’s disease, be a Michigan resident, and attend a day care program in Michigan.
- In-home respite: Must have physician-diagnosed Parkinson’s disease. Financial assistance for in-home care is income-based.
- Assistive Equipment Loan
- Mobility Equipment Loan Program has wheelchairs, rollators, U-Step Walkers, and a limited supply of motorized scooters and motorized wheelchairs for loan.
