Support Group
- Caregiver support group offered on the third Wednesday of the month from 4:30-6 p.m. Respite care provided.
Transportation
- Volunteer Caregiver program. Shopping and medical transportation provided by volunteers, using their own cars. Medical appointments are given priority.
- Must be age 60 or older, or disabled adult and a resident of Livingston County.
In-Home Respite
- Volunteer Caregiver program. Service provided by volunteers, usually once a week for 2-4 hours. Will not provide personal care or homemaker services. Will provide simple meal preparation or run errands if necessary. May have a waiting list.
- Either the caregiver or care receiver must be age 60 or older. Must be a resident of Livingston County.
Home Based Mental Health
- Offers short-term individual, family, couples, group, and older adult counseling. Provides home visits if needed. Evening appointments are available Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday. Also offers substance abuse prevention and treatment.
- Must be age 60 or older for older adult counseling; no age requirement for other programs. Must be a resident of Livingston County.
Friendly Callers & Visitors
- Volunteer Caregiver program provides volunteers who visit homebound older adults for 1-2 hours per week. Service is based on volunteer availability. May have a waiting list.
