Chore Services and Minor Home Repair
- Each qualified homeowner is allowed $500 per year for chore services. This program will pay for the labor involved while the client is responsible for materials used. Services may include plumbing and general repairs, window washing, lawn and yard care, and residential snow shoveling. Chore program contractors are experienced and have security clearance.
- Must be age 62 or older or certified disabled, a resident of Southfield, and living alone or with a spouse. Annual income must be $22,650 or less for one person, or $25,850 or less for two persons.
