Discounted Phone Minutes
- Lifeline Michigan telephone discount services program provides eligible customers lifeline service a discount of at least $5.25/month. Service includes 1,000 anytime minutes/1,000 Night and weekend minutes and nationwide long distance.
- To receive the Lifeline discount, you must be an AT&T (aka SBC) and you must participate in one or more of the following programs: food stamps, Medicaid, Supplemental Security Income (SSI), Low Income Home Energy Assistance Program (LIHEAP), Federal Public Housing Assistance or Section 8, Temporary Assistance for Needy Families (TANF), National School Lunch – Free Lunch Program (NSL), or household income at or below 135% of the federal poverty level. All local telephone companies offer the Lifeline telephone assistance program. Contact your local phone company.
