Annual Implementation Plan

The Area Agency on Aging 1-B’s Multi-Year Plan (MYP) details how we will use federal Older Americans Act and state funds to support community-based services for older adults in Livingston, Macomb, Monroe, Oakland, St. Clair, and Washtenaw counties. The current plan covers fiscal years 2020 through 2022. (Beginning October 1, 2020, and ending September 30, 2022.) This plan is approved by each county’s Board of Commissioners and the state Aging and Adult Services Agency.

AAA 1-B’s Commitment to Compliance
The Area Agency on Aging 1-B (AAA 1-B) is committed to practice business in an ethical manner and to comply with applicable laws. AAA 1-B has instituted an ongoing Compliance Program, which includes, without limitation, policies and protocols designed to detect and prevent fraud, waste and abuse (FWA). AAA 1-B requires all employees and others acting on behalf of AAA 1-B to comply with AAA 1-B’s Compliance Program Policy. AAA 1-B enforces this requirement through disciplinary guidelines set forth in its Fraud Waste and Abuse Compliance Program Policy.

Fraud, waste and abuse can be reported by emailing compliancereporting@aaa1b.org or calling (833) AA1BFWA ((833) 221-2392). Fraud, waste and abuse can be reported by AAA 1-B employees, program participants, vendors or any other party.
