The Area Agency on Aging 1-B (AAA 1-B) is required to maintain the privacy of your Protected Health Information and to provide you with this notice of our legal duties and privacy practices and your rights with respect to the use and disclosure of your PHI related to HIPAA.
AAA 1-B Direct Service Provider List (updated March 2021)
The Area Agency on Aging 1-B’s Multi-Year Plan (MYP) details how we will use federal Older Americans Act and state funds to support community-based services for older adults in Livingston, Macomb, Monroe, Oakland, St. Clair, and Washtenaw counties. The current plan covers fiscal years 2020 through 2022. (Beginning October 1, 2020, and ending September 30, 2022.) This plan is approved by each county’s Board of Commissioners and the state Aging and Adult Services Agency.

The Area Agency on Aging 1-B (AAA 1-B) is committed to practice business in an ethical manner and to comply with applicable laws. AAA 1-B has instituted an ongoing Compliance Program, which includes, without limitation, policies and protocols designed to detect and prevent fraud, waste and abuse (FWA). AAA 1-B requires all employees and others acting on behalf of AAA 1-B to comply with AAA 1-B’s Compliance Program Policy.
